He Surprised Me...............

Today we went to pick up my ring since it was done being resized. Well while Jay went there I went into another store. He came back and said he couldnt get it cause we forgot the receipt. I was totally bummed. Well I went into the shower and I always put the other ring he got me on my glasses. I got out of the shower brushed my hair and got half dressed then went over to put my glasses back on and my ring. And what was waiting for me? My engagment ring! I wasnt expecting it to be there since I didnt think he had it! Totally made my day <3

Not Much..............

Has been going on. Friday we went up to my parents like always. Then after went to Jens. Me and Jen ran to WalMart. Saturday was Valentines Day. We went out to lunch at Houlihans w/ Jen, Russ, Evan, Elaina and Emelia. On the way home is when Jay asked me to marry him. I was surprised and got tears in my eyes. Of course I said YES! I cant wait til Friday when he puts the ring on my finger *since its being sized* and asks again. Later on we went up to my parents for dinner. Then later went to O'Tooles. Sunday me and Jen had our GDO. We went shopping and out to lunch.

I found out a couple days ago that my uncle has cancer. They just found out. Its in his spine. He cant feel his legs at all. He might be paralyzed for the rest of his life. The doctors dont know for sure yet. Theyre suppose to talk with the cancer doctor today. Hopefully he will be able to walk again one day. If hes still down here this weekend at the hospital me and Jay might go visit.

Ive already been looking for things for our wedding. Colors, dresses, places to have it, prices, etc.. There is alot to look at. I dont want to go overboard on a wedding but would like a nice one. So planning ahead would be the best thing.

Now that we are engaged I need to find a job so we can start saving for the wedding. I dont wanna ask my parents for any money. So we will both just have to start saving money for it :).

Asked me to marry him on Valentines Day. I was surprised and very pleased. Ive been waiting for this day to come. He said hes been thinking about it for awhile and wanted to ask me on Valentines Day. I figured we will have our wedding in spring/summer or 2010 or 2011. Now I can start planning and looking at different things. I cant wait for the day that we actually say "I Do"
